Keys, Locks, and Doors

My life consists of pretty much 4 things, keys, locks, doors, and a whole ton of irony...but don't get discouraged; it is often the last key that opens the lock.

Late Night Thought 24

It’s times like these where I realize that I’ve grown up a lot in the past 3 years.

I can feel myself maturing now.  I feel…free.

Just need to keep going and remembering what inspires me.

I love my “family.”

i think we had companionate love, now that i think of it

I like being at that Companionate state.  It really makes you think about how much you value your relationships.

To find the right one, become the right one.

“To find the right one, become the right one. It seems that most single people are more concerned about finding an ideal partner than they are about becoming the ideal partner. Perhaps this explains why they are having such a difficult time in their search. Therefore, become the man that God is calling you to be, especially by becoming a man of prayer. Do not wait for another person to complete you. Let God do that.”

- Jason Evert, If You Really Loved Me

Ahhh, I remember reading this because of a certain great friend of mine.

Day 21:

Visualize and Apply

This is what I was able to learn while actually being productive.  Unfortunately, due to my computer troubles, I was not that productive during the afternoon, but hey!  At least I made this concept of why the current travels down larger axons make sense to me.

Day 20:
Research Minded, Understood.
Well, this was pretty much the educational highlight of my Friday.  Why?  Well, it’s because I actually understood this paper!  It was pretty interesting as a matter of fact.  It’s unfortunate that I still need to do the critique on this thing though…

Day 19:
A Little Nostaliga
So, before my computer was knocked out of commission (thank goodness for having Computer Science major friends), I was thinking about fun cartoon videos to attach to my emails for my tutoring sessions.  Of course, the BEST CARTOON THEME EVER had to cross my mind.  Unfortunately, my computer went berserk before I sent the email.  Regardless, I’m fond of making my ways to contact my students creative.  Nobody likes to read through boring emails, right?

I can cross off Ben Hur as one of the “Must Watch” oldie films off my list now.  It was definitely visually stunning with the colors, the plot was complex and engaging, and I have to say that I enjoyed it, especially how the theme of “sickness” was prevalent throughout the film.

On another note, I know I need to update my 365 pictures.  I will do that later.
