Religious (Mis)Understanding, Religious...
So, yesterday was Ash Wednesday? How did everyone know? (Obviously, I knew because, if you did not know already, I am a practicing Catholic). Oh yeah, those “marks” on your forehead, right? Yes, those “marks” on my forehead.
Today, as I was sitting in my Phy Sci class, my friend noticed my “mark” on my forehead and noted that it was, indeed, Ash Wednesday....
Filling out applications are such memory trips. It really shows you how much you’ve accomplished and how much progress you’ve made.
Some People Just Don't Understand the Physicality...
Friend: Marching band isn't a sport.
Me: Ok, so march.
Friend: *Marches*
Me: No, not like that. Your upper body can't move. Roll your feet. Now stop jerking. Now go backwards. Now on your toes. No, stop bouncing. Now jazz run.
Friend: How do you guys do this?
Me: Now do it with an instrument.
Me: Now with a uniform.
Me: Now memorize eight minutes of music.
Me: Now memorize 90 places on the field and how long it takes to get there.
Me: Now make the forms look pretty too.
Me: Now spend 14 hours a week at practice.
Me: Now do it in whatever weather conditions happen to exist at the moment.
Me: Now-
Friend: OK, you win.
12 hours left until we take on a new challenge!

An Update part 2
Just calculated my score for my second 111A midterm. I’m definitely satisfied. As per usual though, improvements are needed. But seriously though, I haven’t had happiness like this in a very long time. :)
Now, time for a well deserved break with Dance Marathon!
An Update
A great night out with friends was just highlighted by a very satisfying score on my 111A midterm. Honestly, I haven’t been this happy/relaxed in a very long time. Maybe I’m actually doing something right for once. Hopefully I can keep this happy streak going through finals.
After Round 1 of Exams, I’m doing fairly well.
Seriously, I have not been this happy in a long time.
