Day 1:
So what are my New Year’s Resolutions? Well, a good friend of mine (aka a certain person who cooked and ate my birthday cupcake) did a 365 day project. The project consisted of a theme each month and a post per day.
As for me, I’m going to do something of the sort, but it will be something like this:
I’m planning to lock it down on Facebook (aka really using those Google Apps to keep some productivity) and really spend some quality time focusing on my academics and career aspirations. So, expect to find me less on Facebook and more on tumblr (relatively with posts, for my sanity’s sake).
I’m planning a 365 project. Each day, I will take a picture/screenshot or something and post it!
Also, I’m going to have monthly resolutions, with a theme for each month.
I also have my yearly resolutions, but I intend to reveal them on December 31st, 2012. I only have one for the moment, but it’s a very important one, given what has gone on with these past 21 years.
So what the theme for January?
Well, it’s Proactivity and Productivity.
If I’m going to finally reach a comfort level with my academics, it starts now. How can I achieve proactivity? I can do it by going to office hours more, fostering my friendships and relationships, getting more involved in things I love (currently it will be in the UCC, Dance Marathon-DONATE :], SPCN, and anything else I may find!). I also want to be more invested in my tutoring job. Last quarter was amazing, so I want to build my reputation!
And productivity? Well, it’s less time on the internet and more time in the books. Last quarter, my workload at times seemed gargantuan. How can I fix that? Well, I just need to keep chipping away at it. If I do all of the little things first (with full effort), sooner or later bigger opportunities will open up.
So above is a schedule of my Week 1 for Winter Quarter. It’s going to be a busy year. Let’s get it done.
