Keys, Locks, and Doors

My life consists of pretty much 4 things, keys, locks, doors, and a whole ton of irony...but don't get discouraged; it is often the last key that opens the lock.

February’s Theme

So before I begin my classics paper, I just realized how interesting of a week this has been.  It’s been a different roller coaster; last Friday had a lot to do with it.  I guess the theme for this week is…

Opportunity.

A lot changed this week in everything.  It’s like a month passed and I’m finally getting into the swing of things.

Actually, it’s been a month.

To put it simply, I learned a lot this week.  I learned what is required of me to be “successful.”  I learned that we’re asked to be faithful rather than successful.  I learned that there are many opportunities that are open to me if I just take the time to look.  I learned that I need a break, and a long break at that.

And finally, I learned, this time, to take opportunities as they appear to you.  You’ll never know what doors will open to you next.

And, unlike the timidity I had towards involvement first year, this time, I’m seizing these new opportunities and going on the adventure.

It’s strange that only now I feel so blessed with what I actually have.

Since February is usually highlighted by Valentine’s Day, I’m going to do a theme related to love.  Instead of love however, my goal isn’t for “love” per say; it’s for faithfulness.

Theme of February: Faithfulness and Foundation.
